I opted for Science stream in Class 11. Just because aspiring for IIT was a cult thing and CA seemed a bit cliched as an option. Everyone around was doing CA and I wanted to be different, Such an immature thought ( career choice must be in sync with your natural inclinations and not just what is hot in the market) In 2 years, I realised that this wasnt what I wanted to do. The teachers would explain the circular motion of a fan — v=rω ( r times omega)and I would wonder what is the costing of the fan :) The d/dx and the subsequent Integrations to draft equations made little sense to my small brain. The lack of coaching alternatives like FIITJEE in our place, way back in 2001–2003 was all the more an issue. Was left with heaps of books like H C Verma and Irodovs but no mentor. Went to school — and the focus was on English Literature, Hindi Grammar, Moral Science, SUPW — everything that was part of traditional schooling to make you score high in ISC Boards — of course they we...
